SAP Business One was placed on the top position and was named as a leader in the 2022 edition of ERP Solutions Report for medium-sized companies, conducted by Software Reviews. The results of the report were based exclusively on user reviews of the 22 analyzed solutions, on four distinct levels: user experience, supplier capabilities, functionalities and the probability of recommending the solution. SAP Business One obtained a composite score of 8.6 out of 10, with maximum values in all categories. The overall degree of satisfaction shown by customers reached 92%, and the probability of recommending the solution to other users registered 88%. The average value calculated in the report was 7.6 out of 10 with 74% overall level of satisfaction. Competition was high, 22 of the most relevant ERP solutions on the market being analysed in the report, many of which are also available in Romania.
SAP Business One excels in supply chain, inventory management and financial management
In the “vendor capabilities” category, SAP Business One took the 2nd place, with a score of 82%, but in the sections of added value, technology quality and coverage of business processes, it surpassed the solution placed in the first place. From the functionality perspective, SAP Business One obtained the best score for: financial management (86%), analysis and reporting (85%) project management (85) and supply chain (89%). These functional areas are the most appreciated by users and bring the highest level of satisfaction. As for the likelihood of recommending SAP Business to other business partners, 88% of users answered yes, being the highest percentage in the report. The report aims to highlight that the experience with an ERP system is generated both by the product and by the suppliers, two dimensions necessary in the evaluation of any project. Between these two dimensions and the high level of customer satisfaction and implied recommendation is a direct link, which cannot be dissociated. Therefore, it is impetuously necessary when purchasing an ERP software to analyze the solution and the supplier as a team.
The only ERP report based on users reviews
The Software Reviews 2022 report processed the responses of 765 users from several countries, with both business and IT functions. Relevant to this report is the evaluation of applications exclusively by users, based on practical experience. Software Reviews is a project of the consulting company Info-Tech Research Group (active since 1997) and emerged from the true understanding that the experience of purchasing, implementing and operating an ERP system can only come from the users. Currently, on the market, most similar reports are made by analysts, who are not direct users of the ERP systems they evaluate and who most often compare lists of functionalities, with limited relevance in real activity.
