At the end of October, the world’s leading SAP partners, including System Innovation Romania, gathered in Shanghai, China for the LinkedWorld Summit 2025. Launched in 2023 in Germany, the LinkedWorld Alliance now connects thousands of professionals, supporting over 15,000 clients globally. As a member of the Alliance, the System Innovation Romania team spent four intensive days networking and exchanging ideas with more than 50 leaders and experts from over 20 countries across six continents. LinkedWorld Summit 2025 reaffirmed the strength of the SAP community, where collaboration and innovation are not just concepts—they are the engine that drives progress.
In the spotlight: SAP Business One
At the center of the action was Ciprian Condur, Managing Partner at System Innovation Romania, who gave presentations, moderated discussions, and shared insights on our experience with SAP Business One—as well as how local market realities can align with SAP’s global vision.
“Success grows when it’s shared”
The summit opened with Wolfgang Wanninger, CEO of LinkedWorld, who highlighted the Alliance’s rapid expansion, driven by a clear mission: to combine local expertise with global collaboration to deliver SAP services at the highest standards.
LinkedWorld partners form a community that collectively represents one of the largest SAP Business One partners with global reach. In this context, Ciprian Condur was invited to provide market feedback, helping directly shape the go-to-market strategy for SAP Business One.
The second day of the event included a visit to SAP Labs China, giving participants a deep look into SAP’s research and development direction and product strategy. The summit also featured interactive workshops, strengthening knowledge sharing and dialogue between SAP experts and Alliance partners.
This year, we also celebrated the expansion of the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) network, whose technologies complement and enhance SAP solutions—from cloud computing, AI, and agricultural automation to retail tech. By leveraging LinkedWorld’s global network, solution providers can grow faster, expand into new markets, and deliver lasting value to clients worldwide.
Key takeaways from LinkedWorld Summit 2025
Here are some insights shared by Ciprian Condur regarding the SAP Business One roadmap:
- The future lies in the Web Client, set to launch in 2026, following significant SAP investment to accelerate its development. In 2026, the Web Client will include all functionalities currently available in the Desktop Client, which is already used by over 83,000 clients.
- In 2027, SAP plans to release version 11, combining both Web Client and Desktop Client experiences, with innovation thereafter focused primarily on the Web Client.
- This direction opens new opportunities in cloud ERP and AI, marking a new beginning for SAP Business One with modern technologies and an updated interface.
New opportunities for System Innovation Romania
On the second day, the summit took place at SAP Labs Shanghai, where the System Innovation Romania team met the SAP Business One product team. Our colleagues had discussions with Dr. Ruicheng Li (Global Senior Vice President & Managing Director of SAP Labs China), Darius Heydarian (Head of Partner Solution Enablement SAP Business One), Isabel Ostermeier (Global Partner Program Manager SAP), Zhensheng Pan (Head of SMB solution China R&E), and Bing Han (Product Owner SAP Business One).
We had the chance to gain a better understanding of how the SAP B1 roadmap will be implemented, getting direct insight into the product development “kitchen.” We provided our feedback from our perspective and aligned ourselves with SAP’s technological vision for the future.
For System Innovation Romania, this opens new strategic partnership opportunities:
- Closer connections with SAP’s SAP Business One team, allowing us to deliver more efficient implementations integrated with vertical solutions from partners that are now more accessible.
- Participation in global client projects, ensuring high-quality services in our region while collaborating with other LinkedWorld partners.
- Access to technical and commercial expertise from partners, enabling us to tackle advanced technical challenges and learn from partners’ client experiences.
Conclusion
SAP is investing heavily in the new SAP Business One version, set to launch in 2026, reinforcing its position as the reference solution for the SMB environment. Without a doubt, we can say:
“SAP Business One is here to stay.”
