<\/p>\nSoftware automation and software robots are widely sought after, as more and more organizations look into freeing their employees from repetitive tasks. Even European founds, accessible through the Call for Digitalizing SMBs, now include, on their lists of eligible technologies, Robotic Process Automation, with financing ranging from 30.000 to 100.000 Euros.<\/p>\n
Because SAP places excellent value on automation, it also offers this technology to small and medium companies which utilize the SAP Business One ERP system. In this regard, SAP has integrated the innovative technology RPA (Robotic Process Automation) in SAP Business One to enable the automation of manual repetitive tasks and open up new opportunities to modernize business processes and increase efficiency. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n In small and medium-sized companies, most employees are engaged in administrative tasks, which are highly monotonous and time-consuming: processing invoices, purchase orders or supply, returns, requests for leave, or proof of execution are just a few examples. In most cases, such documents are in Word or PDF format, which first must be downloaded, read and then have all the necessary data taken manually and entered into the ERP system. Such work is endless, totally devoid of creativity and added value. An office worker loses 1-2 hours a day with such tasks. SAP uses RPA technology to map these workflows and fully automate them. Software robots will perform these tasks without fail, mimicking the work of an employee. SAP already offers six models of software robots as a basis for intelligent automation in SAP Business One.
