System Innovation Romania lowers SAP Business One license prices by 30% after signing a partnership with T-Systems Hungary, the market-leading ICT service provider company in Hungary, and member of the Deutsche Telekom family. T-Systems Hungary is a SAP AG strategic partner for South-East Europe and acts as a service and distribution center for clients and partners in this area. The SAP AG partnership and the high volume contracts generated facilitate both competitive licensing prices and the knowledge needed to localize SAP Business One to each country’s business and legal environment. The benefits of this strategic partnership are transferred to Romanian SAP Business One users through System Innovation Romania.

CRM ERP integration

A recent study by System Innovation Romania, a local distributor of the SAP Business One ERP system, shows an ERP-CRM integrated implementation can reduce payback period by 25 to 35% percent. The main advantage stems from the native bond formed between the financial processes of the company and the sales and customer relationship management activities that lead to a more complete and unified vision of the whole company. Moreover, the integrated ERP-CRM projects have significantly reduced consultancy, configuration and customization costs, as well as a shorted implementation period. Currently, in Romania, 75% of small and medium sized enterprises prefer a gradual implementation of business solutions, in the first stage addressing resource management (ERP) and subsequently addressing customer management (CRM), a practice that generates high costs and high stress within the organization.

System Innovation Romania recently finalized the implementation of SAP Business One with one of the leading distributors of non-electric homewares and garden furniture in Central and Eastern Europe, Dajar Home & Garden.

The implementation of the SAP Business One system in the Romanian subsidiary of Dajar Home & Garden was prompted by the decision taken at group level, to implement the system in all the companies of the group. Some of the goals of this initiative include optimizing processes and procedures within every company of the group, along with better communication among the companies.

According to Gartner, the rise of the IT market forecasted for 2013-2014 is partially based on a significant increase in sales of ERP systems on a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. The bulk of the increase of sales will take place in emerging markets such as Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Asia/Pacific market. Globally, Gartner predicts a 19.5% annual increase in the SaaS market at least for the next 4 years, taking the market from its 13.5 billion dollar value in 2011 to 32.8 billion dollars in 2016. The trend is also present on the local market. According to a July report from CIO Council Romania, 61% of the companies that took part in the study are currently using cloud services and the market growth rate is at 10%.
